More 2.3 Patch Note Changes

More patch note changes were edited in on the PTR Patch Notes page. Blizzard really doesn't want me to get sleep!

The first Engineering change is absolutely huge. Since the game released the profession has been in need of something viable to sell to other players, regardless of whether the player had the Engineering skill or not, and now it's finally come. On to the notes!

General

  • Silence effects now have diminishing returns when used on PvP targets. (This one is actually old, but I missed it. Sorry!)

Priest

  • Starshards: The damage per tick of this ability no longer changes during the duration of the effect.

Rogue

  • Shadowstep (Subtlety) can now be used at any time, not only while stealthed. Now increases the damage and reduces the threat caused by the next damaging ability. Cooldown increased to 30 seconds. Range changed to 8-25 yards. Note was updated to reflect the most recent version on the PTR.

Engineering

  • Engineering potion injectors no longer require engineering skill to use.
  • Jumper Cables XL is no longer a trinket.
  • The materials required for the Field Repair Bot 74A have been simplified.

World Environment

  • Gas clouds in Nagrand now produce motes of air.
  • Gas clouds in Zangarmarsh now produce motes of water instead of motes of life.

So with that said and done, our patch notes compilation has been updated to include these new notes as well.

It's pretty late, so there's not a whole lot to report on the Blue front. While you're here, though, enjoy this movie: Azerothian Super Villains - Episode 1. Be sure to click through on the title and rate it to share your opinion on the video!

var FO_59 = { movie:"http://dev.curse-gaming.com/static/flash/flvplayer.swf", width:"500", height:"350", majorversion:"7", build:"0", bgcolor:"#FFFFFF", allowfullscreen:"true", flashvars:"file=http://videos.cursebeta.com/stream2/premium/545.flv&autostart=true" }; $("#flvplayer_59").click(function(event) { UFO.create(FO_59, "flvplayer_59"); $(this).unbind('click'); });

Jumper Cables XL is no longer a trinket.

Just a usable item?... still not usable in combat, but still usable with (feign/vanish)?

"Engineering potion injectors no longer require engineering skill to use."

This is how it should have been to begin with.

I loved the movie attached to this post (azerothian super villains episode 1: propaganda). It was pretty nifty. There was a bug with it where it kept messing up. Maybe it was just me though.

shadow step cooldown 30 seconds woot woot.

Do ya think that the potion injectors might actually be sellable now? I mean, could this be my first engineering recipe to turn a profit?

well, lets just wait and see whether anybody wants potion injectors, since personally I don't really give a rat.
    (hunter)
SSC got own potions, TK got own potions, I'm only using mana potions in Karazhan, Gruul and maggy, and we basically stopped with those
