World of Warcraft Client Patch 2.0.5 (01/14/2007)

   * Increased the maximum number of realms that can be listed in the Realm List.
   * Updated the Terms of Use.
   * Created an option to disable UI Acceleration for users of select video cards experiencing graphical corruption of the User Interface. To utilize this option, enter the following line to the Config.wtf file, located in the WTF subfolder of the game: 

   Set UIFaster "x" 

   Where x equals: 

       0 - This turns off all UI acceleration 
       1 - For Internal Use Only - DO NOT USE! 
       2 - Enables partial UI acceleration only. 
       3 - Enables all UI acceleration. 

   Example: 

   Set UIFaster "2"

Note: For users experiencing graphical corruption of the User Interface, it is recommended to try option 2 in order to correct the problem. If this does not solve the issue, then use option 0 to disable all UI[1]

    Patch is crap. Get booted of server exiting BG then have to download the patch only to not be able to log back in. Every time I enter my log in info it says DISCONNECTED FROM SERVER. Nice patch

    Lovely patch. It also disabled players from playing by generating "file corruption in UI, can't validate version" error messages. A rare opportunity for us to be able to re-obtain our lives! Use this time to get to know your family again!

    I can't even find a darn place to download this patch... but it sounds excited that blizzard bugged up the game so bad... HAHA G.G

    If anyone can hook me up with a location to download this patch that would be excellent cause i get that validation error therefore no allowing me to download from blizzard and no one else i normally use seems to have it... silly Blizzard

    they said on logging into game there was a problem wtih authentication and people randomely getting d/ced so everyone watch it cause its happening to me cause i cant log in

    Blizzard is working on the problem as we speak....uhh...i mean type. The patch corrupted the authentication and Blizzard will have updates prior to this problem soon.

    Can anyone with the 2.0.5 version post the updated ToS ? There has been an extended issue with people outside the countries listed in the 2.0.3 terms of service being banned -

    4. Limitations on Your Use of the Service. A. You may only access the Service from within the territorial boundaries of the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Singapore. Any access to your account, whether by you, or anyone else from any location outside those countries is a breach of this Agreement."
