Legendary Ranged Weapon
Thyvene (French Community Manager), the one who posted excerpts of 2.4 patch notes last week, just confirmed that a legendary ranged weapon will drop from a boss (probably 2.4 and Sunwell boss). (Source)
"More details on that legendary weapon: it will be available as a drop, same as Warglaives of Azzinoth, and not a reward from a quest series like Thunderfury."
Patch 2.4: New Cooking Recipes
Yesterday, we already talked about cooking getting new recipes with patch 2.4, but Vaneras gave more details today like effects. (source)
"We have added two new cooking recipes for Patch 2.4: Charred Bear Kabobs and Juicy Bear Burgers. Both new recipes can be purchased from either Bale (Horde) or Malygen (Alliance) in Felwood. The recipes require 250 skill to learn, and use meat added to level 48-56 bears. This means it will no longer require fish to skill up your cooking to 300.
Juicy Bear Burger:
Requires Level 45. Use: Restores 1933 health over 27 sec. Must remain seated while eating. If you eat for 10 seconds will also increase your damage and healing from magical spells and effects by up to 14 for 15 min.
Charred Bear Kabobs:
Requires Level 45. Use: Restores 1933 health over27 sec. Must remain seated while eating. If you eat for 10 seconds will also increase your attack power by 24 for 15 min."
Patch 2.4: Eta? not (src)
"I can't give an eta because it's all dependent on where internal testing and QA feel the patch is. There is alot of content in the patch and we'd like to make sure we're making a patch that is as stable as possible for accurate testing.
I can't ballpark it either just in case we don't make the ballpark. While there are many people that don't mind when we miss a mark, there are others that will try to hold us to it. We would rather err on the side of caution and put it up when it's ready and then let everyone know it's available right then and there.
It is well on it's way, however, and I'm looking forward to experiencing the Sunwell Isle.
The PTRs are operated outside the regular realms so maintenance does not necessarily coincide with the launch of it."
Patch 2.4: Combat log changes (src)
In case you missed it, Vaneras posted the exact same thing as Slouken yesterday.
