It does take a bit of time to get badges, 15 a piece, considering how many slots there are available not to mention the rarity of the patterns on some servers. I think it balances out.

WTS all superior gems, epics are the new way to go for ALL gear...lol

rarity? you do a REP GRIND and you have them all next patch

and all 25man bosses are being given badges as a drop...so they wont be very rare at all anymore

I don't like how they're making tier 6 (or equivalent) weapons, gear, and now gems purchasable with badges. Blizzard is making the best items available with only effort and time, you used to need skill as well. /sigh I'm in a guild that's between weekly full clears of Kara and multiple wipes in SSC & ZA, so this gear will be an upgrade for me, but you used to have to be a good raider in a good raiding guild to have top-of-the-line gear, not so. Nerf, FTL!

if your up to pay 15 badges for gems you already have frigging good gear or can't calculate stats effectiveness.

This is really dumb. JC is such a worthless profession it makes me sick.

This is a huge punch in the sack to JCers whose only way to make some cash was to sell gems. Guess I'll be charging premium prices to cut epics now. But probably won't do any good since everyone and their grandma has a friend who's a JC.

15 badges is a lot for just one gem. A Kara run would suffice but people slaving away in a 2 hour heroic w/ a pug can be torture, not my idea of gaming. I think 10 badges would be perfect. BTW I'm a JC

The new pre-kara request for all guilds, have full +15stam gems if u are a tank....

Makes me sick... there are ppl in guilds with full t6 that dont have this gems in all sockets, now, ppl with pre-kara will have them...

15 badges is a lot for an UNCUT gem. I'd be more comfortable with 10. You still have to get a jewel crafter to cut it.

you know what this means? "easy" gear to get.... the gear is awesome.... wotlk is only a few months away!
