Brewfest Extended

Good news for those of you that haven't quite had a chance to finish up your Brewfest achievements and get your Violet Proto-drake (or continue progress towards it!). Blizzard has decided to extend Brewfest by 2 days due to changes made by the events team during the course of the event.

At this point in time, it's just for this year. And the reasoning is in the above post, "(and after some fine tuning on the part of the event organizers)." I think they just want everyone to have enough time to enjoy all the festivities have to offer.

    Parts of Brewfest were buggy for a couple of days, then they released a patch in the middle of the first week that resulted in typical instability for a couple of days. While they didn't put Brewfest on the PTR (confidently proclaiming that it hadn't been changed enough to need it) and while IMO they shouldn't have released a patch in the middle of a World Event, at least they're trying to do the right thing by extending Brewfest for a couple of days. I applaud them for this decision.

    And Zephus67, I'm pretty sure server reset is something like 4 AM, not midnight. But even if I'm wrong, what the heck is wrong with closing it at midnight?

    They had a year to test the event and they still screwed it up....Fail!

    Something tells me they just wanna close it on server reset because they're lazy like that.
