3.0.8 PTR: Build 9386

Last night the PTR was updated with a new build; there were a number of spell changes, some Glyph changes for Death Knights, and a few changes to PVP item sets (not graphical, though).  Below is a list of everything new and changed, as well as some finds from the last build.  We'll likely be updating this throughout the day as we explore the changes in this build more in-depth.

  • [Glyph of Mind Flay]: Increases the range of your Mind Flay spell by 10 yards, but it only reduces the target's movement speed by 50%.

    @mrkells: Confirmed by lvl 80 druid to lower city rep from sethekk halls and shadow labyrinth.. b4 patch 1-2 rep gain was earned per killed creature, now changed to 12.

    Is this still true? i was unable to find any data on this on any other web page, including Blizards.  It is fantastic news if it is true.  Can anyone comfirm

    To cursris: no you do not get exp, read the notes better. you get full rep for killing them. (Has no effect on leveling your toon, just raising your rep with the faction)

    Current WoW: So where, a mob that gives 10 rep when you are the same level, and when you are 5 levels above it and only get 3 rep. (Numbers are not exact, just examples)

    PTR WoW: The mob gives 10 rep no matter if you are the same level or 10 levels higher.

    so even if the level of a creature is like 10 levels under you u will still get exp?

    I am hoping that the paladin changes to the Judgement of wisdom mana return doesn't make it even more crap, i swear blizzard aren't thinking of pve at all, just pvp.

    I hope that the tempered titansteel that are already made get the sockets. Otherwise it was a waste of time, mats and money to make the ones already made.

    GJ Blizzard, i LOVE you and cant wait for next patch more than ever now. (Even more than wanting to have Levitate cast on me like, always)

       * Creatures now give full reputation when killed, regardless of player level compared to theirs.  Examples: Argent Dawn, Cenarion Expedition, Sporeggar, Timbermaw Hold

    This made my day and the best xmas present i could virtually (literally) receive!
