Opening the Lich King Collector's Edition

Community member Havok received his Wrath of the Lich King Collector's Edition this weekend and decided to film the opening of it to show everyone what they can expect to see inside!  He was kind enough to send us a link to the video of him opening it, which is embedded below.

 

So, have you gotten yours yet? The launch is less than a week away!  As a reminder, Curse is located in San Francisco, CA and we'll be at the midnight launch party at the Gamestop on Powell St. with goodies to give away!

    Actually with the release of The Burning Crusade last year anyone that Pre Ordered the collectors edition through the mail received their copy a few days before the actual games release and there was no **** storm from from blizzard over it, if there was then blizzard wouldn't be making the sales it has been making every time they release a game.

    @DarkKnyght: While angelrock is off his rockers (tehe, i love silly expressions) the retailers will most likely be in for a shitstorm from blizzard because of shipping early. Perhaps even facing law suits and not being allowed to sell blizzard games. Highly unlikely but not unprecedented and I dont know how seriously blizzard takes this.

    So what he got his early do you honestly think he's going to be able to install and start playing Lich King before Thursday morning? No he can't because Blizzard has not changed the website to allow the Lich king CD Key to be activated yet all he is able to do with his stuff is install and play BC till release day then activate what he has no bullshit involved so learn to use your heads people.

    That or they've just royally screwed up holding for the Street Date. Happens all the time but the retailers face a stiff penalty for doing so.

    Apparently some retailers are shipping the expansion early so people have it for the midnight launch.
