I&#39;ve been there, though maybe not as large of a scale. It really is more difficult than it sounds, and then you have to do it for every robe and every character model for each robe, it really is alot of work.</p> <p>I honestly don&#39;t think it looks that bad. See, each character model is made with all of the armor built on (aside from unique geometry items, especially shoulders). When you usually get a new piece of armor it applies a texture to that part of the model. So that level 2 robe you got a minute after starting your character and that epic level 70 robe you just spent 10 week working toward are the same model...different texture. (when a piece is not equipped there is a transparent/no texture applied).</p> <p>So, in fixing this, the work is not in remodeling things, but reanimating. They would need to redo every single player animation in the game...that is A LOT of work.</p> <p>Plus...who even wears their tabard lol...all the art for them is god awful and usually they look like the only person in the guild who lacks any artistic sense and happens to be colorblind makes them.
