I got my Wrath of the Lich King today and installed it. I pressed the upgrade account button and I still got the same error message. I guess it won't be up until 00:00.

*DONT* use the link above for euro account upgrades. I went there, filled the form in, and told I'd been upgraded to The Burning Crusade. I dunno is that's screwed my Lich King key now or not as I'm not in a position to check.

8:00am EST - realms still down, Blizzard store does not offer WotLK, Account Upgrade does not offer WotLK, WoW downloader failed to read information from the Internet during the "Testing internet connection speed" phase.

I'll try again after work. Patience is not my strong suit...

I downloaded it last night, found the link on wowhead.

When you open it it asks which version of the game you want. You select WotLK. It checks all the files you have already and upgrade from TBC to WotLK. In my case the upgrade was 1.9gb.

It gotta be the real thing. The downloader got the official music on the background and some lore is displaied while the download is working. The text, fonts and pictures are pretty legit if you ask me.

I got around 60% last night and then the rain took my internet away from a couple hours. Tried to resume this morning and it seems Blizzard disable the downloader.

I'm so pissed right now.

I'll keep trying until I can finish it.
