Seems to me like its a pretty good thing. It will remove all the thrillseeking noobs (flavor of the month people), make it less crowded in Northrend at the start and quickly balance the population of Death Knights at 80 to about the same as other classes. If you played on a low pop server you know how few paladins and shamans were around respectively even a couple of months after release. The only people I feel bad for are the ones who are leveling new ones for their raiding guilds/ serious play, Hellfire Peninsula/Zangarmarsh is going to be awful for a while there.

Especially since the current way of "unlocking it" is having a character of a certain level, probably 70, on the account. But definetly not just after release, look at my last post. Warrior + Warlock is too sweet not to test. However. Besides, I think you will have to wait for a long time for a Monk type class though. Any theorycrafting on the next heroclass is bound to epic phailure. The only clue I know are that they have said that "it would be cool to include the heroes from warcraft 3". Considering that they just implemented a tank/dps/(caster) hybrid, a fair guess would be to say something opposite. Warden? Blademaster? Demon hunter? Bloodmage? Shadowhunter? Let the theorycrafting begin?

But they wont do that, since even balancing the Deathknight against the other classes is going to make the devs cry. But if theres anyone that can balance it, its Blizzard, whatever people say, Blizzard is king of balance.

Wasn't Kael basically a spellbreaker in Warcraft 3? I know all my buds are sayin that spellbreaker or demon hunter will be the next hero class but i argue cause spellbreakers ingame now are like ret pallys and demon hunters ....would be basically a rogue. I'm hopin to see a pandaran or warden type class myself

Otherwise there will be an overwhelming influx of Death Knights and unless their gear is unsellable, or only worth a few copper, they will make a cash hog for easy money. Also since all the Death Knight armor is black or very dark, will that mean all plate armor will turn dark or that you can only equip Death Knight Plate? Interesting pondering.

This way you would have to level a normal character before you "Go to the Hero side". This would keep the game balanced as you still have to level some character before you attempt to play a high level from scratch. I have seen a number of "bad  players" from the lack of knowing how to play their characters properly. This transformation into a death knight would then be the next challenge as you would evolve the character.

Blizzard already said they won't increase the amount of characters you can create per realm.

I mean, what's the point? If they're more powerful than normal classes, then it'll ruin the game for people who prefer the normal classes. If not, why not just make them a normal class instead of all this special 'hero' nonsense?

&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I've gotten 5 chars to level 70 so far of different classes, and it's something that takes quite a fair amount of time. Most frustrating, when doing this on an established server, is the complete inability to actually do low level instances as the amount of people doing these are close to zero.
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This makes leveling feel slower again, as it just feels like it goes faster while you do instances (Especially at lower levels you can easy gain almost a full level or so in one instance run).
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The 'real' killer in leveling, though, happens when you get to about level 50. Nobody running the instances at all (as opposed to a few groups at lower level if you are lucky), and the instances at that range being what they are, people won't bother doing them below level 60 (or the average player feels they are too hard), yet when you are 60 there is no reason to do them, as the loot gained from outland is just so much better  (Not to mention that you can already quest in outland at 58, and start grinding there as early as 56 if you are really dedicated). The jump from level 50 till you can get to outland is still a killer, though&amp;nbsp;:(
