Spell damage doesn't work on arcane shot anymore.

Only volley and serpent sting now...

I doubt they'd wait that long for another expansion. They are only planning one more 10 mand and one more 25 man for Burnign Crusade as well as Guild Banks and Season 3. I doubt very much that Blizzard are intending to wait 3 years to release WotLK.

The difference between this releaseand TBCs release is as follows. TBC was released off the back of a game which contained much more content that TBC does and ever will. There were 40 mans which took longer and all of the old systems which were more time consuming to complete. TBC changed this and a lot of what was dramatically time consuming is now merely a case of as and when and that is usually a lot less time consuming than it used to be (eg: PvP honor system and 25-man raids).

I expect that they may announce a released date in November 2007 and it will be January/February 2008. In traditional Blizz style, this will be pushed back to March 2008.

Yeah, they want to release one expansion per year, so this could be released during the end of the year or in the beginning of '08, I assume. Christmas has always been a good period for sales or they can release WotLK right before the release of another MMORPG that could be a serious competitor for the new expansion of World of Warcraft.

However, I don't completely understand why people are so excited to put their hands on WotLK. There are still a lot of things to do in TBC and Blizzard still has some stuff to add (Sunwell Plateau and whatever...) before the release of WotLK.
