They have a crate full to the top with Collector's Editions, it made me a little sad cuz i made a big deal of how special it was to friends. When they pointed it out of course they repeated what i said.
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There were crates of standard edition throughout the store. Whereever you went there were WoW merchandise and copies of the game. One whole shelf was stocked with standard and CE. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In short there were A  LOT of copies.

Ofc the game is great and very addictive but you really must hand it
to em how well they've shipped + marketed the hole project.
I remember that at one point wow+gamecards werent available.
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I think they made a big jump forward in their workfield.
EA can eat their eyeballs out. gg gz.

If it is, then I would say that's kind of low, considering the popularity of the original WoW.  I guess over a fourth of the people upgrading is a good number, I just expected about four or five million to be sold on first day, including pre-orders from places such as www.amazon.com, which is what I used.
