Rofl, what's exploiting in simply killing some NPC? Blizzard makes it possible, there's no note about not to do it. Why the f**k not farm her ffs? What's all the gold farming people out there? Killing NPC repeatedly!

yeah, hey lets let everyone go + get like 70g every 2 minutes... then they can stop buying gold! and for the people who are even too lazy to go kill the mob, let the farmers do it, so buying gold will become even cheaper! hey! Not like the game's economy is already messed up enough from farmers! wait, yeah just have a little link at the bottom when you login that just pops 500g to your toon of choice for 8 bucks it'll just show up on your mounthly bill... k well im gonna go buy an exocutioners cleaver for 115g now with that gold i ran dungeons and did quests for 3 mounths to get! .... awesome comment Kampfschaf.

Your "source" for this article is some poorly-written webpage (designed, I think, to kind of look like a wanted poster or announcement) that says a bunch of stuff while offering no proof whatsoever?

Blizzard has stated "Jaina Proudmore's loot table and spawn time is currect." THUS "It was considered an exploit to continue to kill her."

I think there's another reason behind the banning, maybe some kind of exploit to stay away from some of her attacks? /shrug I'm alli so I wouldn't know.

Or heck maybe those 223 horde were continuously selling all the gold they earned online.

if true, its wrong. you can't put loot on an npc, allow it to be killed and then ban people when they want to attack it.

this is just Blizzards way of screwing people over, here you this npc has 50-90g a loot table and re-spawns very fast... as if thats not gonna place a target over her head if they dont want her to be targeted then remove the gold and loot and the horde wont bother.

28 Horde on Doomhammer received the Banstick as well on 1/17. we were not exploiting Jaina , we are a naxx horde guild that can kill her. we did this for 2 hours on 1/13 and 2 hours on 1/14. it was fun. we were wiped both days after a couple hours by alliance. I made about 175 gold total after repairs for 4hours. thats 44g an hour. not like it was good money or anything.

I think Lothaer put it best; why do this if she just respawns very quickly? I think I would like to see some kind of devestation in the home city whenever the leader is killed. Then some sort of event to revive her. And then if you kill her too soon after that you get banned or something. I dunno.

Blizzard took the SS of her dropping 900g seriously. They later discovered that this was incorrect and she was infact dropping 50-99g. However after blizzard admin supervisors decided to ban the 1000+ players for 72 hours there minds were made up. Phone calls were ignored and finally most recieved a copy and pasted email response saying nothing would be done to correct the suspensions.

My entire guild (Hostile of Malorne - top guild on the server) was suspended for farming Jaina for several days waiting for BC to come out. Several times GM's were asked and not once did they say killing her or any other faction boss was an exploit.

GG to blizzard on screwing up big time on this one and not being able to admit you guys made a mistake. Ignoring the emails and phone calls in an attempt to gain information on the matter does not bid well for your customer service record.

Ill make sure I never kill the same mob twice again as to avoid another suspension.
