WOWDB Now Available In Chinese!

We've been hard at work on many things behind the scenes here at Curse over the last few weeks, and this new WOWDB update is just one of them!

We're very excited to announce that WOWDB is now available, fully translated, in Simplified Chinese!

All of the features you've come to know on the English language version are available; whether you want to find Items, NPCs, Zone Information, Quests, or use the Talent Calculator, you can, and it's all localized in Simplified Chinese! Head over and check it out!

We have quite a few very cool new features coming to WOWDB soon, so stay tuned for updates on that!

Syndication, Plugins, Overview and more!

Today we pushed live a fairly major update to the WOWDB Open Beta. Several new features have been added to the website, as well as a number of bug fixes (in addition to those patched in the past three days).

What's new?

Syndication allows you to bring WOWDB items to your very own website. Head over and check it out!
Browser Plugins that allow you to add the WOWDB Search Engine to your browser's search. If you're using Firefox 2.0 or later, the WOWDB Search Assistant will work as well!
Feature Overview allows you to check out many of the major features on WOWDB with in-depth descriptions of each. There are images included as well, so if you haven't yet found a feature, head over to the page and take a look!
WOWDB Tips! The first time you visit the WOWDB website, you'll receive a small tip box pop-up that will recognize it as being your first visit. This box will give you several useful links, including a chance to check out the Feature Overview to learn more about WOWDB's features. Of course, if you want to dig in immediately, you can simply close the tip box and get started.

Bug Fixes

We've received an incredible number of bug reports from the community, and we've been working in overdrive to get these pesky insects squashed in a timely manner.

Season 3 armor sets should display in the Item Sets results page.
Season 3 armor and weapons that require a Personal Rating have been updated to reflect that in their tooltips.
The Talent Calculator has been fixed to properly display 2.3+ changes to talents. This bug affected the Shaman, Paladin, Mage, Priest and others.
Many bugs related to adding to and removing from Wish Lists have been fixed.
Many of the account-related bugs such as login issues have been fixed.

What are we working on?

Character integration from the Curse Client!
Preset Builds that are actually proper talent builds. We agree the ones currently available for many classes, well... aren't optimal for the roles of those classes, and in a lot of cases don't make sense.
Improvements to the Search Filters for each section of the website they're found on.
And of course, a lot more!
