- About Faster Ping
Reduces your latency / gives better ping times in World of Warcraft (and other Multiplayer Games) by optimizing network registry settings (Windows default setting are intentionally causing delays on small packets and ACKs).
The tool ist based on following articles:

Faster Ping optimizes network registry settings in order to turn off ACK delays and small packet delays. Windows intentionally delays small packets and waits until more data can be sent, which is a good idea for non-realtime applications. But in Multiplayer and MMO games the focus is on sending all packets (like move_left, cast_spell, ...) immediately to the server, even if they are only 1 byte in size.
Faster Ping turns off these network delays which improves latency and ping times significantly.
You must have Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 installed (XP with Service Pack and Vista already have it) to run this application.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

this test was done at speedtest.net, my room mate is running torrents downstairs right now.. ive gotten the speed test to redline at 30mb/s and just bury the needle
My latency in wow is about 100-120 ms average, with fasterping installed, used to be around 200 or so,
I use a linksys wireless router to hook up the whole house with internet.. and im connected to the router via CAT5 LAN cables.
i was wondering if theres any other way of getting my ping faster.. a more expensive router, more expensive LAN card? Hacked router firmware? tweaks? any idias people?

lakiozoon saidAs Nightsaintz and OnixXx i have a same problem.
When i apply changes same unhandled exceptions occur. I think it has smt to do with my WAN miniport/pppoe which i use to connect to internet, since when i click apply only on my lan connections i got no errors at all, but my ping isnt much lower either.
When i select WAN(PPP/SLIP)interface and try to apply changes, i get same errors as Nightsaintz and OnixXx.
Any tips maybe?
