- About DOW sounds
OK, I wanna state from the start that this mod doesn't replace every sound. There will be a lot of inconsistencies, as replacing every single voice for even one race would be near impossible for someone like myself. But I do replace the most commonly heard sounds and emotes. These sounds are also personal preference and do not relate to any lore in the game at all. If you're heavy on lore and immersion, these sounds will ruin the game. But if you want some diversity to an otherwise dull sounding game, this pack may spice up WOW for you.
Here is a list of all changed sounds:
<Night Elfs> <Male>Combat sounds , /charge , /cheer , /flee <Female>Combat sounds , /charge , /cheer
<Dwarfs> <Male>Combat sounds, /charge , /cheer , /flee
<Humans> <Male>Combat sounds , /assistme , /charge , /cheer , /congratulate , /flee , /incoming
<Gnomes> <Male>Combat sounds , /charge , /cheer , /flee

JacktheSmack saidTo see all the WOW sounds, use Ladik's MPQ Editor:
http://www.zezula.net/en/mpq/download.html
Simple open any of the MPQ files in the WOW folder, and make sure to Use Internal Listfile when it prompts.

Leper saidWhere or how did you get the sounds from Dawn of War? I've been looking around forever for those files as WAVs without luck. I would have loved it if you'd used the Dreadnaught sounds/voice - or some of the Eldar.

JacktheSmack saidEldar are used by Elves and Blood Elves, what would the Dreadnaught go good with?

Leper saidWell, I don't know outright... mostly I just wondered how you extracted those files like you did. I would love to have some of them as standalone WAV files.

JacktheSmack saidExtract it to your World of Warcraft folder, not the addons directory.
