About Kharthus's Hunter Timers
Currently, this mod will time the duration of various hunter abilities in a draggable frame. The tooltips that show which mob the timer is affecting are only shown when the ctrl key is pressed.

Slash commands
/kht on/off
/kht menu
/kht reset --if the bars break, use this to clear them
/kht resetpos --will put the bars back in the middle of the screen
/kht delay # --delay added to shot cast time (in milliseconds)
/kht flash <time> --sets the timeleft for the flashing to start (5 seconds default), set to 0 to turn it off
/kht step <step> --larger numbers mean faster flashing (default 0.05)
/kht barcolor r g b --sets bar color to r, g, b where r, g, b are between 0 and 1
/kht barendcolor r g b --sets the barcolor to change to when near completion
/kht setbgcolor r g b a --sets the bg color where r, g, b, a are between 0 and 10
/kht colorchange on/off --enables/disables the color change feature (off by default)
/kht up/down --sets whether it grows up or down
/kht scale # --where # is the % you want to scale to
/kht lock/unlock --lock or unlock the timer frame
/kht status
/kht clear all --resets all options to defaults
/kht debug --debug info for testing purposes
History
This is the ongoing development of the great addon that Sorren created. Sorren has returned, but he has decided to write a whole new addon from scratch. Development of this version will continue.

Been using your mod since before it was your mod, thanks for keeping this up to date all this time don't know what I would do without it. I have never posted because it has always been perfect. I do have a request or question though. Is there a way to either categorize buffs or change the color of certain individual buffs? The reason I ask is I have 2 macros I use, one for a nonhasted 1:1.5 rotation and the other /cast /cast macro for haste which scales up depending on amount of haste. Drums, Bloodlust, Haste Pots, and Rapid Fire are all easy enough to keep track of but quick shots sneaks up on me. If I had a DST that probably would too. Would it be possible to either make another frame at the top where haste buffs would go or be able to color haste buffs red so they are easier to identify?

thnx for the great mod. I been using it for quite a while now.
I have a question though. i saw in a WoW movie where a guild took on Illidan a hunter with a mod/addon that actually anounced the amount of AP the whole raid party got after he procs his Expose Weakness effect.
I am a surv hunter myself and atm have about 1026 agi fully raid buffed which eqauls about 256.5 (257 rounded up) AP. but my agi can vary in such raids depending on certain consumables and what not. So would it be possible to consider that in future projects to have it integrated either into this addon or as a seperate addon to have the time and AP anounced to the raid when EW procs? The addon/mod I saw in that particular movie I have not been able to ever find. Maybe there's people who actually know the name of it or know where to get it, I'd be very obliged :)

First off thanks for the great mod Kharthus!
This is a work around for version 2.3.1 until/if custom textures are supported, in order to have your own custom textures on KHunterTimers.
1.) Locate the bar texture you would like (I used a BLP) copy it directly into the KHunterTimers directory.
2.) Using Notepad, or another simple word editor that does not insert formatting, open up "KHunterTimers.xml"
3.) Locate the two lines that say: **The first one is the primary bar, the second one is the dimmed background bar.

Eloora saidI would like to second the request for extra bar textures. I use the same flat and smooth style of texture in Xperl, Omen, Recount and Quartz, and I'm just neurotic enough that KHT being different and unchangeable bugs the crap outta me! Please see if you can add that one little option, and this mod will be perfect :).

Kharthus saidBest way to find conflicts like this is disable everything except KHT. It should work at that point. Then start turning on other addons until you find out which one is causing the conflict. Hopefully it's only one addon. If you can find one addon and KHT that have some weird conflict, then I should be able to help figure out what's going on.

EyrieH saidI apologize if this has already been brought up and I've missed it, but this recent update no longer notices when a mob has activated my trap. Was this due to the rewrite for the combat log changes, or have I missed? :D I'm using v2.3
Edit: To clarify, I do see the mention in Known Issues, but I thought 2.4 was designed with hunter traps in mind? My combat log seems to specify between my traps and other hunter traps, but I really have no idea how that translates.

Yes, v2.3 was needed due to the massive combat log changes. It should detect activated traps and did at least when I tested it. The known issue has to do with other players traps accidentally setting off the timers. I'm fairly certain the combat log doesn't know who's trap was set off, but if you have one that does I'd love to see it.

Korlae's Freezing Trap creates a Freezing Trap III.
Clefthoof is afflicted by Freezing Trap Effect.
I may be mistaken, and I probably am. I really appreciate your time, though. :D
Edit2: Looking over the log I'm actually a little surprised, I could've sworn it gave more info; but it apparently does not. My apologies for taking your time up for the last part, I really did think that the 2.4 changes had made it more specific.
Also, my issue is moot at this point anyway, today's update seems to have fixed my problem. Thanks very much for your time and help!
