About

This is the latest version of the new Titan Panel released by the Titan Development Team. The Titan Development Team consists of: HonorGoG, jaketodd422, M_Nyte_Templar (joejanko), Lothaer (Lothayer), oXid_FoX and Tristanian (TristTitan).

Titan Panel adds a control panel bar on the top and/or bottom of the screen and allows a framework for extensive plugin support.

Installation Guide

Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
  - Windows XP a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
  - WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
  - WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Mac Users
  - StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
Verify your WoW Installation Path
That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
Move to the Addon folder
- Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
Start World of Warcraft
Make sure AddOns are installed
- Log in
- At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
- If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
- If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.

Translations

When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of wow. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".

TOC Numbers (Out of Date Mods)

When Blizzard patches WoW, they change the Interface number. This means that all mods will be "out of date" unless or until the author releases a new version for that interface. Some people go into the .toc files and update the numbers themselves, but this is STRONGLY advised against as it will cause problems locating possible incompatibilities addons. When you log into WoW after a patch, you DO NOT have to delete your interface directory. All you have to do is simply tell WoW to ignore the interface numbers and load all the mods anyway. All you have to do is, while at the "character select" screen, look in the lower left corner and click on the "addons" button. A window will pop up listing all your installed mods.

If you look in the upper left corner of that window there should be a box that says "Load Out of Date AddOns". You want to CHECK this box. Now simply go into WoW normally and all your mods should load. As of the 1.9 patch, you will have to do this after EVERY patch/update that Blizzard posts! If you encounter any problems with a mod after a patch, please be sure to let the author of the mod know so they can fix it.

Mac Support

WoW addons are not platformed based. As such, they can be used on either Mac or PC. You can extract both .zip and .rar files on a Mac using StuffitExpander.

Titan Panel is creating the appearance of an open GM ticket and also in BG disconnects people and when they log in they are dead. Blizzard tells us to delete that addon =( when will this be fixed?

Version 3.2.5, RELEASED ON 7/15, included a temporary fix of your problem.

Version 3.2.6, RELEASED YESTERDAY, included a permanent fix of your problem.

Hint, when Blizzard releases an update and you subsequently have a problem with an addon, look for a new version!

I transfered a couple of toons to a different realm and everytime I reset or redownload titan my old realm still shows up. What can I do to fix this?

Type "/titan reset" and see if the data disappears. If it doesn't, remove everything named "titan" from within your WTF\Accounts\<username>\SavedVariables directory.

the in 2.4.3 inplemented herb bag, "mycah's botanical bag'' is shown as normal bagspace, is there an option to exclude herb(and all other profession) bags from the bagspace counter? or is the bag not known to titanpanel or something?

vlab, the bag is not known to Titan Panel yet-- we haven't yet updated TP for it. Look for a fix soon.

What addon is displayed here that makes the thing at the bottom of the screen with your quests, spellbook, and bags, etc. not go all the way to the end of the screen but rather shortens it and puts it to the middle? Can someone please tell me the name and where to find it?

activate the "ui-scale" in the games options screen, pull the marker all the way to the left and its done...

A widescreen monitor and/or the game played in a high resolution. That picture came from a 1680x1050 resolution mode.

I'm currently having a problem with Titan where the mouseover information boxes appear much larger than they should (basically they take up the whole screen).

This has been an issue for me for a long time because I was using an out of date Titan, but I just upgraded to the newest one and it's still happening. I can only assume it's because another mod I have is out of date. Thanks in advance for any help!

Strange but for me latest version and /titan reset dont solve the problem.=S Is it only titan that cause empty ticket or it can be any other addon aswell?

The latest version of Titan Panel (3.2.5.20400) fixes the empty GM ticket bug.

It appears that Curse has the linking problem fixed also.

Thanks to all who reported on the Titan and Curse problems, but especially to jfperusse (here on Curse) and Solos2 (on WowInterface) for the helpful suggestions that allowed HonorGOG to fix the problem quickly.

ONE MORE THING: If you're upgrading from a much older version of Titan, you may need to enter /titanpanel reset into the chat window to clear out any conflicts.

I just uninstalled/reinstalled Titan (from the Curse Client). Went into the game and typed /titan reset and all was well. Even the GM ticket bar disappeared. Thanks Guys :)

for some reason the Download (Manual) link is linking me to the Chinon add on, you should use This Version Download instead untill curse or the author can fix the download button
