Description
=
myFriends is a World of Warcraft AddOn. It enhances the friends list display with less buttons and more friends displayed. The friends, ignores and mutes can be organized in groups. The friends list, ignore list and mute lists are shared by all the characters on a same realm. Friends can be added by the right-click menu on a character portrait or name.

Usage
=
The enhanced friends, ignores and mutes lists replace the original one. You can access them as you did before. The friends, ignores and mutes of a character are automatically added to the shared lists the first time you log in with this character. Then the list is updated every time you add/remove a friend, ignore or mute. Your friends, ignores and mutes are shared by all your characters of a same faction on a same realm. Right-click on a friend, ignore or mute and choose "Change Group" to put him in the group you want. You can also drag and drop him in a group.
You can't ignore or mute a player if he's offline. So you might get a few "Player not found" messages when myFriends is trying to synchronise your current character's ignores and mutes lists with the shared one. This is not an error and myFriends will retry to add the ignore/mute at next login.

Randomnuke saidI like the idea of this addon, one change (if posible) to make it so that it doesnt update your freinds list. Due to haveing a few alts, 3 of them have full freinds list as it is with diffrent people. Is there a way to stop it from updateing and adding freinds from my alts to my main? I dont see any slash commands for this addon, maybe an idea for your next update. Keep up the good work.

Scheid said@elusif: myFriends is using the Blizz functions to add/remove friends/ignores/mutes so when you stop using myFriends you will still have your friends/ignores/mutes. That's why myFriends has the same limitations as the default UI: you can't have more friends/ignores/mutes than the default UI. As for the offline filter I will add this in a future version (maybe offline at the end of the list too) ^o^
For your error please first try the new v1.3 and tell me if you still have issues =)

elusif saidIs there a way to make the mod ignore more people then the blizzard default and if so is there a way to make them receive the *character is ignoring you or a whisper when muted stating such? Can I make offline friends and ignore people goto the bottom of the listing so i don't have to scan through the offline people and I can see who is online at a glance?
Also, when I installed myfriends and logged on my main it worked fine but I just logged onto my bank and got this error and a blank ignore list.

* Fixed the german A-Umlaut in Localization.lua
* "Add Friend" will now placed at the end of all PopUps
* Reduced layout works also if the player is in a guild
* Removed <offline> tag (the friend is already grey ; )

Afflicting saidWhen in the friends list, the list of friends will extend a little further than the box you've provided for the list.
The names will go into the boxes at the bottom of the screen you're supposed to type in.
Minor issue, but one that bothers me. Could you fix it, or someone tell me how to?

Scheid saidI've made few improvements to myFriends. I fixed the faction thing so that you can use it if you have characters on Alliance and Horde on a pve server. You can aslo add your own alts as friends (mainly for mailbox auto-complete). I added the location of the friend in the tooltip. The Add Friend button is back! You can change a friend's group in the right click menu. You can now add friends by right-clicking their names in the chat window.
Please note that you will need to re-create all your friends groups!
