  • About Baud Manifest
  •

Summary

With Baud Manifest, you can browse your inventory as a list, instead of the standard bag layout. Categories can be created to organize the list, allowing you to place items as well as other categories within them. Categories can be expanded to view the contents, or minimized to save visual space. The item list can be also sorted or filtered to help you find items. You can also view manifests of other characters, aswell as a combined list of all your characters' manifests.

Using Baud Manifest

After you've installed Baud Manifest, you can access your manifest simply by opening your backpack. You'll probably want to organize it a bit with categories, so it's easier to manage. The easiest way to get started with this is to let Baud Manifest categorize your items based on their item types. To do this, click on the down arrow in the upper right corner of the display, and select "Categorize by Type" from the menu that appears.

Categories

To create a category, click the down arrow in the upper right corner of the display, and click on Create Category. To rename a category, right click on it and type in a name. To delete a category, drag it out of the display and click on the game world, in much the same way you would delete an item.

Moving Items

When you drag an item in Baud Manifest, the largest available stack will be picked up. To select the amount of an item to move, shift-click or shift-drag the item, and select the amount you want to move (Can be more than one stack). To pickup the smallest stack on your character, ctrl-drag the item. To pickup one of the item, alt-drag it. To move all stacks of an item, shift-ctrl-drag the item.

Using the Standard Bag Interface

You can also access the standard bag interface by using the Open All Bags key, using the bag buttons in the manifest, or by disabling the "Replace Blizzard's Bags" option.

  • * and, of course, the ability to import categories from alts. It's a bit of a pain to have to set the same categories for 4 alts. and I know i'll never get my wife to adopt this addon if she has to make all her categories for all 14 of her alts.

  • Hiya. Glowing praise here, and a couple feature requests...
I am never going back to regular bags. This addon does EXACTLY what I want as far as bag sorting goes. I've used Possessions and while it's better at seeing what each character has, it doesn't treat the items as grabbable entities, so BaudManifest wins. I was a little trepidatious about not managing the actual slots in my bags for when I need to, say, swap out a toolbox at the bank, but there are ways around that.

Here are a few things that I (and a lot of people) would *really* like:
    * sorting as items arrive - having to sort out quest items and cooking items as they arrive is the biggest annoyance. I could live with sorting everything else by hand, but I burn through quests so fast sometimes that it's a big pain to have to move each unique quest item by hand.

    * Guild vault support, of course

    * the ability to select/move multiple items - say I want to grab all the ore from my bank to go crafting... would be nice to be able to select all and move. Perhaps with a pseudo-object to represent the group, and then a script to move all items in the selection? (or am I just drunk and this functionality exists via moving categories)?

    * the option to, perhaps by category, display the vendor value of items next to the name, to allow intelligent destruction of junk to make more room. I use Itemized Deductions but it would be nice to have a more granular visual of what I'm looking at throwing out.

Make sure Baud Manifest is actually installed properly and is enabled. Use the command /baudman and the manifest should appear. If the command works, you could make a macro for the command, or locate the hotkey at the bottom of the keybindings list.

  • i cant find it on the keybindings list, what do i do

  • Oh man, I love this mod. I've tried at least a half-dozen inventory/bag mods and not really liked any of them. U
