  • About Jadrie's MobInfo2 Database
  •
========================

PLEASE!!! DELETE THE OLD DATABASE (World of warcraft/WTF/*accountname*/Saved Variables/MobInfo2.lua) BEFORE THE IMPORT!

I removed 600+ German names from the DB file, so to keep them from returning, please delete your old DB before.

======================

I've been following this UI mod for a while now, MobInfo2, and there's a distinct LACK of databases online to download and use. So I figured I'll take matters into my own hands and start up a project for any interested.

Current Count on Database: 25674 Mobs 17668 Health

Send me your databases!!! (World of warcraft/WTF/*accountname*/Saved Variables/MobInfo2.lua) Please Zip them up for size, and send to Jadrie@gmail.com

If I get a lot of updates sent, I should be posting a new version every week or so.

Thanks to any contributors in advance! And Thanks to Skeeve for making the awesome mod!

  • Okay an update, I can import Jadrie's database Version 0003. Finally! =D

    When I logged out and in my Health database kept going back to 1.

    It's because of cgProfiler, "an all inclusive profiler for curse.com" Thanks to Skeeve in this thread, http://www.dizzarian.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4390

    I disabled it and my health database will stay.

    I think the problem with Jadrie's Version 0003 is because it has a "thisIsADummyTable" line. Thanks to Jacobo in this thread, http://www.dizzarian.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3693

    When I removed this and have cgProfiler disabled the import works fine and the database isn't erased. Weeeee.

    Ok, that is all the info I have at the moment. I will post if something changes/happens. =)

  • Heya, I have tried this several times now. Here is how I went about it the last 2 times.

    1. I deleted the MobInfo2 folder in AddOns folder and then deleted MobInfo2.lua in my Saved Variables folder.
    2. I Install MobInfo2 in AddOns folder
    3. I place the MI2_Import.lua file in the /AddOns/MobInfo2 folder
    4. I log in and type /MI2
    5. Click Database
    6. Click Start to Import
    Now this happens every time...I get this:
    Error: bad argument #1 to 'find' (string expected, got boolean)
    File: Interface\AddOns\MobInfo2\MI2_Health.lua
    Line: 27
    Count: 2
    It only errors once, then never again until I log out then in and try to import again.

    Also, it only shows 14725 Health Database Size, 0 MobInfo Database, 0 Player Database.

    When i log out the character and log back in the database is back at: 0 Mobinfo, 1 Health, 0 Player, even the 14725 Health Database isn't staying.

    Read the How to Install Document, you put the MI2_Import.lua file in the MobInfo2 folder in your addons, then load wow, then type /mi2, click database, and hit start the import

    Data is completely wrong. Did a sort by profit on the imported results and it was trying to get me to go kill Zul'Farak bosses in Old Hillsbrad because they are apparently the mobs with the highest value in the game... Don't waste your time with this or if you do, back up your old MI2 database first.
