  • About Grid
  •

Grid is a modular, lightweight and screen-estate saving grid of party/raid unit frames written by Pastamancer and Maia. Optional modules can be assigned to up to 7 possible indicators: each corner, a border center text and center icon - to highlight specific units (and if you prefer to only show units in range, this is posible too). Grid comes with a bunch of modules (aggro indicator, incoming heals, auras (debuff types, shield, renew, rejuv, mortal strike,...), mana, health deficit,...), but it's easy to add your own modules (see the developer API).

If you downloaded Grid from wowace, please don't post here. These releases are actually tested. Anything from wowace is bleeding-edge and may or may not work.

  • Hey. Just downloaded and loving it. Although, is it possible to make the health deficit stand out a bit more. Rather than having it faded and just have the opacity being 100%?

  • this is an awesome mod, saves a ton of space. i'm having one problem though. when i first get into raids all the backgrounds for the players are colored for the class, but about 10 minutes into the raid/group ALL of the backgrounds are black (which prevents me from seeing hp going down and dots in corners). the names stay class colored, but this doesn't help me when trying to see if ppl are being hit. is there a setting that i need to switch or something to make it so that it stays w/ the class colored backgrounds?

  • Thanks alot. Worked :)

  • It sounds like you have a status assigned to the health bar with a higher priority than unit health.

Each indicator can only show one status at a time. If you go into the advanced frame options, you can enable 'health bar color' as an additional indicator so that you can show aggro (or any other status with a color) without affecting the health bar value.

  • Super nice addon used it alot. I took a break from wow.
And returned.. Now i use Grid again, but i have small thing. Grid dosent always update the real amount of health.
    Example.
Warrior had 60% health. I heal him for 40% wich should give him 100% health. But sometimes Grid shows that he only has 90%.
Ive tried to mess with the settings, but cant seem to get it to work.

  • whenever i mouse over my grid it says player options right click on a target to do blah blah blah anyone know how to fix that?

ive been trying to setup a macro to automatically dispel targets via grid by hovering the mouse over their grid frame and hitting that macro. it works with every other unit frame mod except grid for some reason. im trying to do /cast [target=mouseover] Dispel Magic, yet its not working on the grid frames. any ideas?

Left-click just above the top left button and drag it. It's insanely hard to find the spot, but it helps to increase the scale and padding. Good luck!!

  • I had the same frustrating problem for quite a while. Solution for MOVING grid. Open you Grid Config page. Go to Layout.
Under the layout setting you should see a movable bar labeled Spacing, This will crate a grey age around your characters grid, left click an
