Client falsely insists all addons are up to date

As the title states. The Curse client falsely insists all addons are up to date even when it is not the case. Any ideas?

Could you provide a little more context to help us diagnose this?

First, what specific operating system you are running would narrow potential problems. Additionally what process you go by to update the addons would help, specifically how it is you know that they are in fact, not up to date.

Same problem here. The Curse client says everything is up to date, but if i check the addons (e.g. ATSW, some Lib-files,...) on www.curse.com i find newer versions. But if i click "reinstall" he installs the newest version(as can be found on the site) of the addons.

Ditto, chief. Something is definitely afoot at the Circle K.

I've noticed an increase in reports about this, although nothing in the client should have changed that would affect this particular behavior.

It is possible it's related to the recent patch, but I'm investigating a theory it might have to do with mismatched addons and/or an incomplete downloaded addon list(the one you see in Find an Addon)

Also, with the 3.0.0.7 hotfix I've resumed work on the internal tickets. A major one is improving the error reporting when addons are not able to be written (or removed) on disk. If possible, please check folder permissions to see if the installs are simply failing silently.

Sounds good, Llamabark. Just an FYI, I use Windows XP Pro 64-bit, and my account is Administrator, so I know this isn't just a "Vista user rights" problem. Not sure how much that helps, but maybe it removes or lessens a possibility.
