Today when i logged into the game Curse gave me a message saving there was an update. So updated and played for a while longer. Now every time i exit the game and restart my interface resets. Whats going on?

Just to confirm that this is most definitely NOT an isolated incident. A lot of people are complaining about this online.

Everyone is yelling about this in zones.. Id like to know as well if/when there is going to be a fix.. cause I run alot of chars.. ans resetting each and everyone everytime I log in is quite frustrating.. along with all the addons..

I just went ahead and uninstalled Curse, Problem solved. I guess i'll just have to keep my adds updated on my own.

when you log out of the game, the client saves the variables to the savedvariables.lua

currently the savedvariables.lua is being erased.

theory: the client trys to access the savedvariables as the game tries to save and can't access the file, which causes the problem

If thats the case, sounds like someone made a BIG mistake.

curse is it possible asap to reintate the client. Because everthing is not able to work since the patch/update of the curse client.

I am not the only one who has the problem. Please give an information so that we can now when it is again working.

RoM forums confirms. It's the curse client. If you uninstall it, nothing resets. I have the same problem.

oh is there a little problem on this game. i just want try to play this game and install it. but if the said poblem still persist well i guess i should better forget this one..

I think a third party has hacked in and are getting our wow account sign in and password. All the people i play with are beening ripped off and curse.com updates is their vehical to our accounts. My account also has alot of freezes and disconnects ater this new update.

I received this suspicious email the other day.  I did not click any links or change my password.

I know other people that have recived the same E-Mail. It would be nice if an Admin or ANYONE from Curse would respond to this thread.

We need some input please!

Sorry for this problem everyone, the issue is that we added some new functionality to the client to delete updates after they are pushed to the server for all of our games(wow/war/rom) but there's a bug in that for rom, it's deleting the entre savedvariables file instead of just our saved data. until we push out a new version, i'd advise everyone to uncheck the box for uploading info to rom.

the new version of the curse client that fixes this issue is out

Where is it out at?  Both the Curse Client and hitting http://rom.curse.com/downloads/rom-addons/details/curse-profiler.aspx show the Curse Profiler at v1.4 with a release date of 4/25.

I hit the page for the Curse Client itself says that it's v3.0.0.7 which is what I already have installed.
