Hello, i've recently learned the minig profession but cant seem to find any mining spots. Would anyone be nice and direct me to an addon that could show me all the mining spots on my map? Please and Thank You!

I use Gatherer, but I've never bothered to download a prepopulated db of the nodes.

Right by your mini map there is a little section where you can have it automatically detect mineral node's for you to mine at. The First one you will be able to do is Copper as soon as you make it to lvl 75 in your mining capability. You will then be able to learn how to smelt Tin,Silver,and make bronze from tin and copper bars.

GatherMate, a competetor, has both the addon and the DB found here on Curse.

Thanks so much, but i seem to behaving some problems with instaling the wowhead Db thing. I cant find any tab that says "configeration" or "database" tab either. Any help on that?

When i look at my addons through WoW it says "Out of Date" for the "Gatherer WoWHead DB" addon. any suggestions?

Out of date doesn't matter. Just click the Load out of date addons thru the char select screen. Blizzard turns this off every patch, so remember to turn it back on. You will find out as soon as you log into the game world whether an addon is so old it won't work, but more often than not, the above will work.

Yes, loading Gatherer and GatherMate DBs is done in game, thru either addon. Look for something about importing databases. The DB files themselves are addons, and should be installed as such.

Ok I've been able to do all of that except for the database addon part. Nothing can be found on adding or iporting a database.

I have fixed the problem, i had to enable the "load outdated addons" button to do so.
