Recently I am getting a lot of "Download failed for ..." errors for addons that need to be updated. Right now (time of this post) Ackis Recipe List, DrDamage and GatherMate_Data fail to download.

All release preferences are set to Alpha.

This problem occurs frequently with different addons. At some point the download always succeeds but I usually want update before raid time, so it is annoying when it does not work as expected. When a download fails I click refresh and the addons needing updates are listed again and then I click update all and the addon download fails again. I try this a few times until I give up. Then a few hours later the download usually succeeds. But I want my addons updated before I start to play WoW, not when my play sessions ends :P.

The frequency of these failed downloads is very irritating for a premium customer ;).

Thanks for the feedback Laren,

We've received other reports of this issue and are trying to figure out it's cause. My suspicion is there is a bug in the url validation and the server rejects the download request. I'm trying to figure out exactly why.
