i have seen quite a few ui's that players made and use instead of the standard action bars that come with wow and i am very interigued. i want to try one of these things out but the thing is i got no idea what everyone is talkin about when they give the instructions on how to download it and use it. take "nUI: Spiel Dashboard Skin (optional)" made by (aka project manager) SileniaD. the instructions say "
To use this skin:
1: Exit WoW
2: Download and install the most recent version of nUI if you have not already as you would any other addon. You should unzip the contents of the download file into your Interface\AddOns directory
3: Download and install this skin as you would any other addon and unzip it into the Interface\AddOns directory as well.
4: After downloading and installing both mods, you should have both an Interface\AddOns\nUI directory and an Interface\AddOns\nUI_Spiel directory
5: Run WoW and log in. Before selecting a character to play, click on the "AddOns" button in the lower left corner of the screen and enable the nUI Spiel addon. You can return to using the default nUI dashboard at any time by disabling nUI Spiel.
6: Select your character and enter the world. nUI will automatically replace the default dashboard with the nUI Spiel skin if it is enabled."
im not tryin to be rude or anything but if someone could plz be so kind as to give me a complete breakdown for each of these things and what it means i would be most greatful. i just want to try these things out but i just dont understand what the instructions mean especially steps 3 and 4. again srry for being rude and whiny. im not that tech savvy
