I instaled the curse client and updated correctly (already did it downloading the last one, and downloading an older and letting it update), when it starts I dont have a game list, so I try to add a game. I go there, click the correct button, select the type as world of warcraft, but when I browse to the folder where it was instaled the client tells me its not the right folder. I am not going to the interface, or addon folder (even tryed it too...), I am on the root folder, where the game is instaled, as the client tells me to do... Game is correctly instaled and running fine, but the client keep saying its not there.
I am running with windows vista home premium 32bit. Instaled the game and the client for the first time on this machine, but had both running fine on my older one.

Since you are using Windows Vista, the install path may not be where you expect it to be. The correct path is C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft replacing C:\ with whatever drive you have it installed on. Some of those folders may be hidden, and you will have to unhide them to find them in that case.

Mine isn't instaled on this path "C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft ". It's in C:\Users\<name of the user>\jogos\World of warcraft
It's there for sure, game is running correctly. At that public folder there's only a log file.
And the user it is instaled on is the admin.
Any other possibilities for the trouble?
(Sorry for the poor english)

Does the <name of the user> folder have any special characters in it (accents/etc?)

Ah, ok then. Llama and the other "orange" people are trying to push out version 3.0.0.8 of the client which has better support for non-English letters. The current version doesn't work with them very well. It is a known issue which was sadly overlooked. I now return you to "orange" personnel.

Is the Curse client supposed to recognize my Age of Conan folder? What does the client look for to determine that i have AoC installed?

Filecreator - correct, there is a good chance it will not until the 3.0.0.8 release. I'm actually surprised we hadn't received more reports of the client not working with extended characters before, as it seems the code has never supported it. Perhaps there are more international users now, but I've completed testing of games installed under paths with special characters and those changes are already in the test builds.
tielk - Age of Conan is not currently a curse client supported game. The supported games are World of Warcraft, Warhammer, and Runes of Magic
