Also, I doubt it moved your interface folder UNLESS you are on Vista. New installs of WOTLK will move the interface folder if wow is installed in the default location. Please consult the stickies.
Well, I use Vista Home Premium 64 Bit, and I only started WoW in February. I started out with the Battle Chest Edition, and have NOT installed WotLK as yet. My game is NOT at the "default location". When you install the game initially, it installs to the "default location", BUT, then it starts patching to get up to the current specs. SOMEWHERE in all that, there will be a screen asking if you want to put your game folder in your "Public" folder so that Blizzard can patch it without you constantly being nagged for permission to continue by Window's. If you choose "Yes", then your ENTIRE game gets moved to your "Public" folder.
So, it's not just new installs of WotLK that'll move your game for you.
I guess about all you can do is put in a new Addons folder, where it's supposed to be, and re-install all your addons.
The big question for me is: How do you "accidently" delete your "Addons" folder? It's not like it's right out there in the open or anything. Usually. Just MY opinion.
