Any news on FFXIV? I heard they already finished it and that they are deciding whether to make F2P or P2P. What do you think guys?

FFIV? dont you mean FFXIV? I doubt they are doing to make its F2P.. im betting its going to be P2P but my question is what will happen to FFXI when XIV comes out.

about FFXIV, i heard that they were deciding if they're going to make it f2p or p2p. i was just thinking, why don't they make it buy to play? like what they did in guild wars, you need to buy the cd to play the game.

i think it'll take a couple of years before they release FFXIV, don't forget there's still FFXI, and i can guess that they'll shut down FFXI once FFXIV is released
I'm not sure about the F2P or P2P talks, but seeing square-enix, i guess i could be P2P

I have a feeling it will be P2P, as uhjpae says... I mean as much as I'd like to see it F2P. I don't see it myself because of the huge amounts of cost that goes into any kind of MMO. The more complex it is, the more likely it will be a P2P game imho.

It would be nice if there was some way to migrate characters. Altho I suspect they would want to put a fire break between the new product and any troubles the old one might have had by forcing everyone to make a fresh start.
