just typed in /qh find [Mobname] and it searched it up

but they removed that function lately, i wonder when it will be back.

try _NPCScan, you won't be able to find it on Curse, but on WoWInterface it is available.

Tip: read the notes for this addon carefully, else over time it'll stop functioning properly.

People here are right.  There are multiple addons that do this kind of thing.  SilverDragon and _NPCScan are very common.  I'm using NPCScan myself.  I happened to be flying out to Zang the other day for summerfest stuff when the scanner picked up BogLurker.  I just flew back, kept clicking on the target button until he was in range and then killed him.  Worked like a charm.

Rare Spawn Overlay also works.

thanks guys. tried NPC scan with all the instructions and didnt work. will try the others. im kinda quitting wow already cuz i aint got nothing left to prove aside from getting 2350 arena rating and this will give me something else to do ;P
