Ok my guildmaster just asked me to help with the recruitment so we can build our ranks for bigger rp events and raids.  So I'm here to ask which addon/macros people reccomend.

So you're looking to become a spammer?

If anyones like me I don't pay attention to the guilds spamming in trade.  It should be if you liked playing with someone then ask them to join your guild.  If your serious about recruitment do it in the wow forums. Either under your servers forum or in the recruitment forum.  Alliance, Horde. 

I hate guild spam in a city in general. Use the channel that is ment just for guild recruitment. I'm in a guild and I do not need to see your spam taking up half the chat box.

I have noticed for a while that people always complain about about people recruiting on the trade channel.  First of all, I see nothing wrong with it and it does not clog anything up.  People clog up the channel more by making comments and complaining.  Why is it ok for people to say all kinds of stupid crap , which has absolutely nothing to do with trade.  So what if a guild recruitment message flashes across, big deal.  What aggravates me is idiots who clog it up chatting and then complain about guild recruitment.  Why don't you whisper or get on your guild channel and chat. It is not a chat channel.  Do not think I recruit on there, because I haven't.  I might start though, just to get pelasure out of people complaining.  What you fools do not understand, people like me get pleasure in pissing people like you off.  Go ahead and make a stupid comment, that will just prove I struck a nerve. 

Come on people. My point is that this whole complaining about guild recruitment is silly.  If you want to complain about those real spamers who advertise thier websites for selling gold and crap. 

Finally, if you are one of the rare few who use the trade channel for actual trading only, then you may have some right to complain and I do not mean to insult you.  I think you should be more mad at idiots who think they are funny and making idiotic comments.  Those are the people who clog up the trade channel. I do not chat on the trade channel.  i just watch all the mental midgets on there make fools of themselves.

I do realize that there is a guild recruitment channel, so what.

I wish the guild recruitmant channel would let you use it ifyour a GM. this would save so much time and effort of finding people that were looking for a good guild. The way it's set up is once your in a guild then you cant use it to recuit. So GM's have to usethe Trade or General channels. Dont think they like to, but are left with no choice.

...even more desirable would be the way you used to be able to join channels from any part of the game world. So, to be able to view the GR channel while questing outside of a major city would be great. Although I do see that being abused more than the trade channel is now. But, you miss sooooo much when you leave a city.
