The addon has every quest on an ingame list, and once you complete it it turns a certain color.  It allows you to tell what quests you did/ and  need to do.

"Works perfectly if you start it from char. start".

Any ideas of the addon name?

nope.  When you went into the quest log, there was a tab whic you clicked that brought down a tab for every zone.  You would then click the zone and it would have every quest on a list.  It would then tell you the status if it was complete/in progress.

That should help a little maybe?
