I would like to know why you feel the need to make it hard to get updates for the addons so many ppl enjoy.  Me and my guild of over 50 accts on wow are slowty changing are addons that only wowmetrix carries.  Everyone i come in contact with in game have been getting the same recomendations to stear clear of this site becouse of your lack of thought and understanding for the actul ppl that your {so called} set up to serve.  I find it very hard to belive you are doing any of this to help the average gamer.

I don't understand the logic in these arguments. If we follow your logic then every website should offer their services for free? They should also allow everyone under the sun to use their bandwidth and hotlink all of the content on that site. All that Wowmatrix was doing is using someone elses bandwidth, whom they do not pay for, to use as a base for their product. As you stated they have now started hosting the addons on their own servers. This is what they should have done in the beginning. You may also noticed that they are sorely lacking decent addons since authors must choose to have their addons hosted on Wowmatrix. Since they had previously aggrevated the addon author community most authors have choosen not to host their addons on Wowmatrix.

Now the real question is what about Curse, or even Wowinterface, do you find so difficult?

Wowmatrix did in fact reach out to Curse and WoWInterface to contribute financially to your bandwidth and increase you site's exposure in their client. yet, the proposal was rejected!!!

Now you are telling me u care about helping the average gamer????

I second Sainthood007. Wowmatrix is in fact easier, much easier to use than your client and from my personal experience, my guild and everyone I encountered in WoW so far (who I discussed this with) are steering away from here. You really thought Wowmatrix was costing you money? the real loss is in the reduced user base.
