Let's be honest, sitting there for hours disenchanting crap over and over is annoying.  I keep looking but no where can I find an addon where you can set it to disenchant an item and it disenchants all of them in your bags.  Any type of addon like that out there?

I believe that disenchanting is considered a spellcast, so the game requires there be a click every time you do it (or other user initiated action). There are probably some macros out there that make it a little easier though. Seems most people just recommend keybinding Disenchant.

since you are destroying items, you need to confirm this destruction for every item, if auto disenchanting would be allowed, I bet Blizz would get about 10-100x as many item recovery tickets as they already get now.

so NO, speeding up disenchanting is not possible past the auto-loot and and key binding options (and that will probably never change).

Take a look at Panda, it does mass-disenchanting.
