A little support would be nice

I (and many others) have had this problem for over a month-PLEASE FIX/PATCH THE CLIENT SO THAT IT ACTUALLY DOES WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO-NAMELY INSTALL ADDONS!

Now on to my issue:

Curse (which was designed to automatically install addons) ISN'T AUTOMATICALLY INSTALLING ADDONS ANYMORE! I click the "Install with Curse" link on any addon on the site and it says its being downloaded & installed and shows up as such in Curse's list of installed addons, but there are no files physically copied to my machine.

Taken from my original post here

Lots of other folks have this problem. It is not just me being "technologically challenged" (which I'm not). This past week I did a full reformat and reinstall of my hard drive from the Operating System on up. I am now running Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit (with Service Pack 2). My firewall is Windows Firewall and is configured to allow Curse Client (and WoW) access properly as is my router.

My hard drive is set up as follows:

C-Windows and Critical Operating System Files ONLY--50GB

D-Everything Else (WoW, Games, Office Software, Documents, etc, etc)--175GB

WoW is installed to: D:\World of Warcraft

The addons directory is: D:\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons

Curse is installed to: D:\Program Files\Curse

I am running the latest version of Curse 3.0.9 and WoW 3.0.2

Curse when told to "download an addon" or "update an addon" either from the site (the "install via Curse" button), or from the program itself acts as though it is. However all it does is delete whatever addon files are currently there and then nothing else. It can and will properly uninstall addons so access to the addons folder is not the issue (in my opinon)

I (and others) have had this problem for over a month now and it started for me when the botched 3.0.9 release was first sent out and then quickly stopped due to bugs.

Please at least acknowledge that it exists and fix it!

I will investigate this.

Also, just in case you were wondering I installed the Curse Client from a fresh download of the most recent installer (i.e. I didn't use some installer from 3 versions ago and then update it)

A few other tid-bits:

I have an Administrator-level account on my machine and the Curse Client, WoW, the WoW Updater, the WoW Launcher, and the WoW Repair/Reporting Utility are all set to "Run as administrator" via the "Compatibility" tab in the file properties.

I am running AVG Anti-Virus Free version 8.5 with the latest updates as my anti-virus/malware defense as well as Windows Defender.

Thank you for actually taking a look at the actual problem instead of just acting like I'm to blame (as the majority of my linked threads have had happen).
