I tried a search for 'cancel subscription' and nothing came up... this indicates that the process may be difficult. is that true? has anyone de-activated a subscription?
I'd really like to support Curse.com and every thing tha they have put together here, but due to past bad experiances, I get nervouse when there isn't an obvious exit plan.
Things like asking to call a 'support phone number' to cancel, start making me want to shy away. Even having to 'e-mail' some one and then at their whim, the cancelation occurs isn't as good as a good ole fashiond button on my account somewhere that will let me end the subscription.
Also, that said, if I subscribe for a year, and lets say that 2 months into my second year, I decide to cancel - will I get the remaining 10 months of that second year that I paid for? or do you refund the money? or do you allow me to get what I paid for for the rest of that second year, and just not charge me when the next time to pay comes up.
There was one site that was rather lame with that above question, I paid my 30 days, (it was an online flight sim thing,) and asked to cancel after 12 days, that turned off my abbility to log in !! yet they still felt that they were somehow entitled to keep my money! hah! crazy thing eh? anyway, I just want to clarify that before I get roped in.
like I said, I did a search using various words, but nothing came up. (making me nervouse,) so, anything to comfort me and make me feel warm and fuzzy will be greatly appreciated. I just wana give you my money, heh, but I want to make sure I'm protected as well.
