im new to curse and before i just only downloaded addons here. now i got a problem with an addon called soundtrack, which is not updated for about 6 months i think :( . maybe the project is dead, because no one is replying. is there a similar addon to soundtrack? i love this addon and its the only reason why i still play wow. i love it to let it play my own music / soundtracks - or maybe is it possible that someone can update it ? i hope somebody can help me and other who love this addon...

I'm suspecting that the addon might be dead, but I'm using it, and had some results in fixing some issues.  I've tried to await a reply from FluffyBearLina, who issued the fan update, and could use my updates and fixes to this version.  Unfortunately she and Morricone are both out of reach, and I do not want to issue my update to curseforge in fear I would be infringing some legal setup.  (Frankly I just dont know how lol).

I hope that I could at least take up the project but I'll need strict permission from Morricone first in order to be safe.

as long as it's transparent where the work originates from no one should have a prob, I think. It would be absolutely great if someone could pick up Soundtrack and fix all those little bugs or even add new features or give it a complete overhaul.

It's by far one of my favourite AddOns. ActionBars and most other tools change from time to time, but Soundtrack always stays :) and I can't imagine, that Morricone would have a problem with you proceeding his work, as long as the audience knows where the sourcecode comes from.

I'm actually hoping this gets updated. I didn't know about this addon until now.  I think i'd have way too much fun with it
