So I don't care what anyone else says, I still love Carbonite more than any other quest helping addon out there... my question is this: Why is it not on this site? Do the creators not allow it? I only ask because it would be nice if Carbonite could go through the client like EVERY OTHER addon I have...

May be its because they know it they go threw a client their is a chance of being hacked. Any download client that has an .exe file is an invatation for keyloggers to come in useing that bypass of firewall capabilities to get what ever information that you put threw your machine. That credit card number, passwords, that midget porn you purchased last week. So every time you use that download client remember, your letting the people at carbonite free unchecked access to your machine no matter how good your antivirus, firewall, malware omg it's so good they cant get in with out you knowin it. if it has an .exe they are gettin in. By the way, I like carbonite also, and I agree, it is a good add on.

So, like, you don't use the Curse Client to dl and update your addons. Right? By-the-way: Ever heard of MMOUI Minion? WoWInterface has their own "client" to download and update addons. Where is Carbonite hosted?

But, seriously. Dude: You are paranoid. I'm not saying that what you are saying is impossible (I really don't know how that stuff happens), but you might want to back it off just a little bit, y'know?

docjroberts: A feature-limited version of Carbonite (Carbonite Quest) used to be hosted here at Curse, but there was a big to-do over charging for addons (which, technicaly, I don't think the Carbonite people did), and they decided to host it themselves. At the moment, while they still have their own site, the addon is hosted only (as far as I know) on WoWInterface. I'm pretty sure it would be hosted here at Curse, again, if only the Carbonite people would ask.

Just to clarify, the Carbonite team does not ask Curse to host the addon, they volunteer to upload it to us. So far, they haven't, which is their perogative.
