thanks for the replys, their all very helpful. Just one last question. Correct me if i'm wrong but i go into my wow folder then the cache folder and the erase the wdb folder? but if i want to just erase the npc cache as stated in a reply above, u said it would say creaturecache.wdb, but the only files i have close to that look like this,go into wow folder, then cache folder , then wdb folder, then enus folder, then my choices are as follows.
creature cache, object cache, item cache, item name cache, item text cache, game object cache, npc cache, page text cache, quest cache, and finally
wow cache. none of the caches on the above line say .wdb after it. When in the caches sub directory with the above lines options, the top browser where the program name goes looks like this, Games> World of Worldcraft > Cache> WDB > enUS i know i sound like an idiot, but i've never used addons until now. thanks for your help, Aries
