well i really just want the chat window to have a dark background instantly with mouseover, instead of the 2 seconds it takes....i looked around the plain chat options and couldnt find it...

and i dont want a huge addon that changes all sorts of stuff.....and i dont want to wade through all the addons to see if there's something similar haha...so if anyone knows a minimum change addon that would help me with that, that'd be coo

I believe there is an option in the Interface options menu called "Remove Chat Hover Delay" which is probably in the chat section.

That chatbox open delay doesnt do anything much really. Hardly has any effect on the transparency of the window :(
