I haven't been able to play WOW for about 6 months and have forgotten pretty much everything. I'm sure it will come back as I play but I can't really play until I redo my talent tree (haven't been on since they changed everything). Can someone help me set it up for a Ret Pally? I would really appreciate it! I also wanted to know about this whole Dual Spec thing - what's the deal? Does it cost a lot (I'm broke)...do you have to pay to reset your talent tree when you dual spec or does the payment for the training cover it? I have reset my talent tree a lot so I can't really afford to screw this up since it's free right now and I'm broke. I would really appreciate any help at all! Thanks all!

Respeccing when you have dual spec is pretty much the same as normal. Only the spec which you currently have selected is reset; the other is untouched. When you first acquire dual spec, the second spec will be empty and will not require a respec (as far as I remember).

As for your talent tree, I cannot recommend the one above. I'm currently using this as my retri offspec, though there may have been some changes that I haven't kept up with since 3.2 came in. In any case, retri is pretty simple to talent for as there are many requirements and a little room for movement only depending on what the rest of your raid has. This is also a PvE spec, so you'd be looking at something very different for PvP.
