I have used Dr. Damage for a long itme, but I have ecently joined the wide world of tanking and DPS is no longer very important to me.  Threat, on the other hand, is.  My question is this; since threat is easily mesurable now with the new threat API, is it possible to do a "Dr. Damage" style addon, but instead of DPS, threat is diplayed on the action buttons.  This seems like such a perfect idea that it would not surprise me if there is already an addon out there that does this.  If not feel free to steel my idea...you can even take all of the credit...as long as I get a copy of the addon.

I think most people still use Omen as a great yardstick for threat... Sure, I have the blizzard ones turned on but I keep an eye on Omen as you can tell how fast you're moving up the charts or who to yell at to slow down.

I use recount with recount threat mod for that, but I am talking about how much threat individual moves do, for example.

When I am about to click either Heroic Strike or Slam it would be nice to know that Heroic Strike does 450 threat while Slam does 375.  (numbers made up just to show the example)

This is what I am talking about.  Omen just shows how much threat I currently have on the target and my threat per second.  I feel I would be way more efficient as a tank if I could know which of my available abilities would cause the most threat at any givin time.

I think it would be a great idea.  The threat coefficient of abilities has been well known for a long time and I think it wouldn't be too touch to make a tooltip mod that showed the threat level of abilities.
