custom UI's

i know how to instal a custom UI. what i havent been able to figure out, is how to set it up so each of my characters has a different looking UI. anyone here know how to do that, or could tell me how to set it up? or any addons that are easy to use on making custom UI's?

Are you only working with one custom UI addon or multiple here? And if only one which one? Also what do you mean by a different UI for each; different look, entirely different addon, different placement?

If you are using multiple UI addons, then you can chose which UI to load per character by going into the indivdual character tab for addons and turning on/off what you want. If only the same UI then knowing what one it is helps us to tell you how to customize it.

havent chosen any custom UI's yet. but its like

ok, so i download UI-X, and UI-Z. i want UI-X on my pally, but UI-Z on my warrior. so 2 different characters have 2 different custom UI's that look nothing like each other.

i already know that i will have to have the select addons each one uses sellected for the 2 characters. i have tried it. i got the 2 UI's, sellected the addons the UI said it used. then tried loading it up, and only 1 character had the right UI, and the other had addons that werent set up, or had a profile i could choose to get the correct set up.

By far the easiest meethod for this is to copy your wow folder to something like wow2, install one ui in your wow folder and the other in the wow2 folder. Other than doing that, you would need to go into the addons screen at character select and enable / disable addons using the chracter specific listing.

If that's not working for you, check to make sure that UI-2 was installed correctly. Sometimes you ned to rename folders / files to accomidate the ui copy.
