Monitor Addon, does it exist?

Basically what I am looking for is an addon that will allow me to record a specific players attacks during a fight, then go back later and read through them, essentially to help a newer player work on their rotations and such, I have gone through looking for an addon to do this, but I have not been able to locate one so far, does anybody know of one that exists to do that?

Thanks!!

If you try scrolling back through your combat log you may find the Abilities used by other players there.

I am aware of that, but that is incredibly difficult to sort out even with a 5 man instance, I am looking for one that will let me record one players only

If you are trying to find the best rotation for your class and spec then there is no better place than Class Mechanics forum over at ElitistJerks.com. They have done all of the theorycrafting so you don't have to. You will know the exact rotation that you need to follow.

See my "Thread to end all threads thread" for the answer to your question!

Just record the combat log via the record command or the addon i forgot what both of these happen to be i think the addon had drop in it's name? or log? i completely forgot anyway you can record the combat log and it saves to a .txt in your wow folder people do this to upload it to WWS and so on and even http://wowwebstats.com/ can help out if needed to see everything they're using and what not and not all fights are the same its not attack1,2,3 is your rotation some call for attack7,12,18,24 + attack1,2,3 < hopefully you understand that lol not every fight is a 2-3 button rotation depending on class and the encounter really

There is no addon or program that I am aware of that allows you to record other people's gaming experience. Nyxtyr's suggestion is the most workable; type /combatlog on for the beginning of an instance/raid/battleground, and /combat log off when you are done. It is saved in your Logs folder in the main WoW directory. Mind that it overwrites itself the next time your combat log gets updated, so back it up quickly.

Creating an account at http://wowwebstats.com is free, and you can upload the log there. Their software parses the log, and provides a great deal of information, including other players.
