Please help. (Curse Client Premium on Mac problem)

I have, Curse Client premium and whenever I start it up I get a "Debug alert" nothing will work. It's all up to date and everything but, I can't get any addons or anything.

In "Unidentifed Addons" I have "Carbonite" "CarboniteNodes" and "CarboniteTransfer"

I cannot install it or anything, there is nothing in "Your Addons" or "Find an Addon" the search button in "Find an Addon" will not work, I cannot search for anything. This has been a problem ever since I got it.

My sister and I both have a Mac. She had no problem with it. But when it came to me, I had a problem with it. My sister's boyfriend has never seen that before and cannot help me. So I'm wondering, did I do something wrong?

 

I did click "Download for Mac" and the download went fine, but when I try to start the program, it just ... I keep getting that "Debug Alert".

 

It works perfectly with my sister, but not me. Yes, I'm a little jealous and annoyed at this.

 

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a sulotion? I've tried uninstalling it and download it again. But, same problem. So, please, please, help.

Carbonite will always be Unindentified on the v3 client, as it is not hosted on curse.com You can find it on wowinterface.com, as that is where the author chooses to have it hosted.

The v4 client for Mac, when it is available for public use, will have far, far less of this kind of issue. My test copy id's Carbonite and several other WoWI-hosted addons, and knows when they've been updated; the catch is that when you click "install" it opens your web browser to the addon page, making you download it yourself. This is done due to intellectual copyrights and other legal writ.

As for your debug alert, I suggest posting a ticket on curseforge.com and follow up. Keep in mind the page I just linked....

I did download that from wowinterface.com

I still get the error (even though I just upgraded it, it is now 3.0.0.8)

 

How do I post a ticket? It's a little confusing and I don't know how to do that?

The v3 client does not recognize WoWI hosted addons, but the v4 client does. To post a ticket, when you go to curseforge.com, click Projects, select Curse, the the appropriate Curse project. At the top, there is a tab called Tickets, with an option to create new tickets.

There is no point in creating tickets for the v3.xxxx client; no further development will occur.

The v3 client is no longer supported.  Please upgrade to the v4 client:
