I'm looking for an addon that will let me move the emote frame for boss fights, i.e. "Eadric the Pure begins casting blah, blah, balh..." in big yellow text. It's in an annoying place and it seems to get cluttered with DBM and nUI. Ulitmately I would like to find an addon that will not only move it but scale it too. I was using RBM for a while for traps and hunter's mark, but it filtered it out and that' not what I am looking for. Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

It's been a few days and I've been extremely busy but that addon doesn't seem to work for what I need. It litterally moves EVERYTHING but what I would like to move. It will move all static frames and various others but not the boss emote frame. It will move the error frame but not quite close enough. Anymore suggestions?

Are you talking about the Raid Warning frame? I don't think that can be moved...

I don't think so. I have DBM and Omen sinked to my raid warnings and the ui i have let's me move those. I don't know the specific name for the frame so that's why I've been calling it the boss emote frame. It's the same frame as when your in Wintergrasp and it pops up with "The southern tower has been damaged!". I know i can reinstall RBM and it will filter it out, but that's not what I'm looking for. I've been looking periodically trying to find something but no luck so far.

I believe that those messages are either part of UI_ERROR_MESSAGE or UI_INFO_MESSAGE. Try searchng for info on that.

The post towards the end allows me to run a script to test the frames. It is indeed the RaidBossEmoteFrame. I tried a few of the scripts to move and test them but the parameters seem to be wrong. They offset both frames to the bottom center of the screen. And it also involves running the script everytime I login.

Maybe there isn't an addon or feature that does what I need, but if scripts can be manipulated in game to do what those do maybe an addon can be made. I just don't have the know how.

Simple addons that just run a command on login anyone can write. If you want to make them into an addon you need to find the lua equivalent then add them to an addon. See THIS post that I made to help someone scale their buffs which will also help you make your changes so they are run at each login.
