I used to use EquipCompare all the time until it constantly became outdated then I looked for a new one that does the same thing. [For those of you who don't know what it does, it allows you to hover over equipment and it'll bring up a 2nd tooltip to compare it to whatever equipment you're already wearing. Instead of having to hold Shift]

Anyways, I finally found a new one when I was looking at comments for the addon RatingBuster. But that was a while back and since then I have had to redownload all my addons and can't seem to find it again. If anyone knows of a working one that does what I am looking for I would be very happy to know what it is. =]

EquipCompare is also still available.  You might want to try wowace.com

EquipCompare was, I believe, most recently housed on WoWInterface.com, but has not been updated since 04/2009.  It is, however, still compatable, and I still use it.

Oh. Well the one on WoWinterface always says incompatable but it's alright because I went to WoWace and looked up EquipCompare and an addon called TekKompare came up which does what I needed haha. Thank you for your input everyone =D

Hold down the <Shift> key when mousing over an item for the same effect. You don't need an addon.

True - this was incorporated into WoW, but EquipCompare is still a bit more versitle than what WoW provides.
