I want a macro, for ressing ppl. I want it to inform the group who i'm ressing, any tip for a macro?

*sigh* at the lack of Google use... Firstly it helps to know WHAT class you are... DeathKnights ghoul-rez, not true res... Secondly, I just put into Google "ressurection macro"... Odd, first hit... priest examples...

This is one such example from that page in regards to a priest ressurection macro with announce. Should work.

There's a really simple, no-configuration-needed addon that does this called AnnounceRes. All it does is output: Casting Ancestral Spirit (revive, whatever is class-appropriate) on Player 1. Nothing more, nothing less. Works in raid and party. Very easy.

Or you could use SmartRes, which is a great deal more intelligent than a macro.

Wow.. really? This is a forum? I'd never have guessed... If you did Google as you said you do, top 8 picks for "resurrection macro warcraft" are 8 DIFFERENT websites.. and you're telling me that in all 8 (including the official Blizzard forums), none worked? Perhaps a wiki on "how to google" since the very least, a google on "warcraft macro" would get you the wiki on warcraft macro's and how-to.. but alas, guess that's too much to ask.

Just in case you're using some of the healing addons, I believe Healbot actually has a res macro built in. You just have to enable it and select the channel.
