I am looking for a addon that will allow me to do some sort of a search, type in the name of an item (even a grey one) and it will tell me what creature drops it, where that creature is located and (preferably but optionally), what level the creature is and what the precentage of the drop is.  Is there anything out there like this?  The major addons like AtlasLoot look like they only handle high level items, and I need something that will also deal with greens, quest items, cooking ingredients, etc.

That requires a pretty big database, since there are thousands of items in WoW, and you're wanting to track a lot of data about them.  I'd really suggest using Thottbot, WoWhead, or a similar website -- an addon to do the same thing is going to take a *lot* of memory in WoW.

Yah having a searchable DB like that that would be nice, but I agree...way too massive to be practical. Probably the best you can do with that in-game is Mandeleev and perhaps MobInfo2.

Ah, thank you for the info.  I'll try those to addons for now.  My biggest problem is trying to figure out what monsters drop what I need, particularly white crafting items and blueprints.  My computer doesn't handle having a web browser up at the same time as WoW very well, which is why I was looking for an in-game option.
